THE GIANTS WIN THE PENNANT!

This team has no history--it's homegrown youngsters, cast-offs, and bits & pieces from all over baseball. They did not feel the weight of Giants post-season failures, because they have no connection to them. Matt Cain was drafted in 2002, and he's the longest-tenured of the orange & black. The Giants defied history and beat the defending champs in Philadelphia to book their place in the World Series.

The real glue to this team is their pitching. It shows how good this team is without Zito. The big 4 starters combined, even with Timmy's new salary, does not match Zito. Mark DeRosa gets a ring. Whew. He signed for the right club and makes 6 million a year to rehab. I heard Bengie gets a ring either way, I wonder if that is really true? They threw a bunch of guys together which turns out to be around Posey, as opposed to around Bonds. But this time the team had more pitching depth, then Felix Rodriguez and and injured Rob Nen in the pen. The starters were even better than the Jason Schmidt, Russ Ortiz, Livan Hernandez, K.Rueter group.

The Castaway Kids are a team. They play team baseball with a new hero emerging every game. They did not let a disappointing loss in game 5 get them down, but came out scrapping against a team the baseball pundits had all but declared NL Champs (before the series). Oops. Shit happens baby, and the Giants are heading back to the World Series! We're all Giants!

I've never seen a team pitch this well. It's hard to wrap my head around it. What a great performance by the whole team to beat the Phils four times!

@Estacada: can you say "todos somos gigantes" in Russian?

Taught a Yoga Class this morning - everyone whooping it up about the Giants! I felt like I needed the Yoga to open my body back up, after the 3 hour & 45 minute exercise in continuous tension last night! It seemed like every pitch had the potential to be 'the important pitch of the season to-date'. Hopefully, the whole team is getting some rest today. Then, the preparations start. I think that there could be some roster adjustments brewing.

THANK YOU, GIANTS!!!!!!!
